It was formed 46 million years ago in a place that used to be an immense lake that allowed the formation of caverns and housed marine animals of which remains are still found.

What will you live?

We will begin our journey from the stop of Marta in continuous descent from 1,500 meters above sea level along the Lengerke road to 650 meters above sea level in the town of Jordan, a historical place in the commercial exchange in colonial times between Caracas and Bogotá. We will spend the night in this town to continue the next day our ascent to the table of Saints at 1,650 meters above sea level. At the end of the return, we will cross the canyon by cable car from La Mesa de los Santos to the Chicamocha National Park to return to Barichara and then to Bogotá.
