Within the jungle and its rivers these communities subsist on hunting, fishing, and growing crops such as yuca brava and bananas. They coexist sustainably with mammals such as Jaguars, Pumas, Wild Boars, Pink and Grey Dolphins; with reptiles such as Anacondas and Spectacled and Black Caymans; with fish such as the Amarillo and Pirarucú; and with a surprising diversity of exotic birds.
