Outdoors and adventure. In this journey, you will be able to engage in activities such as whale sighting, trekking through the jungle, sailing in a traditional canoe along the Joví river, among others.

Two ethnic groups inhabit the Colombian Pacific region: The first is formed by afro-descendant groups that migrated to escape during the time of slavery and now live on the coast, with a culture centered on fishing, and a spectacular culinary diversity. Deeper in the jungle we find the second ethnic group, the Emberá indians, who inhabited this place long before the conquest.
Throughout this journey, you will be able to engage in activities such as whale sighting, trekking through the jungle, sailing in a traditional canoe along the Joví river, among others.
Temperatures range from 16 to 28 Cº
What will you find?
Chocó is one of the most interesting geographical destinations in the country. It is a region where the waters of the world's largest ocean converge with an exuberant tropical rainforest. Thanks to the Humboldt sea-current, this marine area is an explosion of life that exhibits a variety of the sea's most impressive fish and mammals; and in land, one of the planet's most extraordinary jungles vibrates with amazing wildlife.

Andrés Gutierrez
Biologist with a minor in arts, he intimately knows the flora and fauna of our country; in his free time, you might find him sketching landscapes and animals, playing rhythms with common objects, or just meditating. His explorations into different cultural and indigenous traditions, offer him a rich understanding of the communities we visit. A life-coach and outdoor educator, he quotes: “Treat someone as they are, and they will remain as they are. Treat them as they can become, and they will become who they are meant to”.
You will be lodged in a hotel with rustic and picturesque cabins built mainly out of wood and stone, with comfortable and modest accommodations, including private bathroom.
